Bettina is a registered practitioner of Chinese Herbal Medicine and has been practicing in Carlton since 1992. Her background is in Science where she has had research and teaching experience. Bettina has been active in promoting the Chinese Medicine profession through presentations and exhibitions and has worked closely with the Endometriosis Association Victoria in the past. She has traveled to China and Europe to participate in conferences and further education. She has been a director of the Australian Chinese Medicine Education and Research Council (ACMERC) and was the Editor of its Journal. She was also Co-Editor of the Lantern Journal of Chinese Medicine for 20 years and is currently a lecturer at Torrens University. Bettina is particularly interested in working with patients with women’s and skin issues. Bettina speaks English and German.
Michael has been in Acupuncture practice at Shen Healing since 1990 and is a registered practitioner. He has completed a Bachelor degree in Acupuncture and a Diploma in Chinese Herbal medicine and also attended clinical studies at Shanghai International College/China. His extensive sporting and martial arts background had sparked his interest in working with Natural Pain Management. Michael speaks English and Greek.
At Shen Healing, we have a special interest in the treatment of women's problems, skin issues and pain management. But we also provide other areas of health care.

Sometimes there are obstacles to coming into our clinic, but help is still available. We can schedule phone herbal consultations and send out the herbs to you or have someone pick them up.
